Requested by our Director of Pharmacy (and member of the Sons of the American Revolution), the goal was to create an engaging and historically accurate video about Independence Day for diverse audiences. The challenge was to make historical content accessible and engaging while maintaining accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Conducted thorough research on Independence Day history, working closely with our history SME to ensure accuracy.
Created an engaging narrative that balanced historical facts with storytelling to make the content accessible to diverse audiences.
Combined historical footage, custom animations, and motion graphics to create a visually rich experience that brings history to life.
Worked with both subject matter experts and the equity team to ensure content was historically accurate and culturally appropriate.
Raw footage captured at original filming site, preparing for post-production compositing and effects.
Intermediate stage showing the green screen keying and initial background replacement work.
Completed scene with full background integration and final visual effects applied.
Created custom animations and motion graphics in Premier Pro to visualize historical events and make abstract concepts tangible. Used After Effects to enhance visual storytelling.
Sound design and audio editing was used to enhance the experience and maintain engagement throughout.
